John Gregory McVerry, 56, of Selah Church Road, died on Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his parents, John and Theresa McVerry and his wife, Judith Kaye McVerry.
The funeral will be held at a later date.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by five children.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
