Sarah Atkinson, 91, died May 6 at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Kenneth Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
She is survived by nieces and nephews that she raised; Helen Gerald of Goldsboro, Raymond Atkinson Jr. of Goldsboro, Ida Blaine of Atlanta, Ga., Rosa Kelly of Baltimore, Md., and a special niece, Cynthia Gerald of Goldsboro; and a sister, Laura Elliot of Goldsboro.
The viewing will be from 2:30 until 6 p.m. Friday at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 South George St. The family will receive friends at the residence, 506 Stadium Drive.
