MOUNT OLIVE-- Elwin B. "Joe" Rogers, 73, of 117 Jim Grady Road, died Tuesday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. He was born in Sampson County, the son of the late Henry and Henrietta Rogers.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church in Magnolia, with the Rev. Dr. Michael V. Moro and the Rev. J. T. Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, Clinton, and other times at 1500 Kader Merritt Road, Rose Hill.
