MARGARET D. AMBROSE

March 10, 1926-Feb. 3, 2008

Margaret Deans Ambrose, 81, went to be with her Lord on Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Margaret was born in Wake County to the late Grover Addison Deans and Bertha Evans Deans. She was married to the late James Elwood Ambrose. Margaret had worked with Borden Manufacturing Company for over 40 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Nelson and the Rev. Pete Bass officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Margaret is survived by her grandsons, Dean Gray of Leland and Darren Brandt of Saratoga; her granddaughter, April Dawn Gellura of Saratoga; her great-grandchildren, Ashley Gray and Ayden Gray; her sister-in-law, Margaret Wiggins Deans of Goldsboro; her step-niece, Phyllis Woodard of Goldsboro; her step-nephew, Spillman Grice Jr. of Kinston; and her special friends, Ralph and Regina Pipkin of Saratoga, Hilda Royall of Goldsboro.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Brandt; and two brothers, Marvin Deans and Norman Deans.

Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, U.S. 70 Highway West, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530 or to WAGES Meals on Wheels, 601 E. Royall Ave., Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
