RETIRED SENIOR MASTER SGT. FAINE JACKSON

USAF Retired Senior Master Sgt. Faine Jackson, 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday surrounded by his family. A native of Rome, Ga., he was the son of the late Marvin and Rochell Chastain Jackson. Mr. Jackson served his country proudly, serving three tours in Vietnam and one tour in Korea.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Jackson will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment with military honors will be Sunday at Wayne Memorial Park.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Couch Jackson; daughters, Connie Rainey and husband, John, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Pam Benton and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro; son, Tony Jackson and wife, Marie, of LaGrange; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Jackson is also survived by a sister, Leomia Wallace of Rome, Ga.; brothers, Frank Jackson of Cedar Town, Ga., David Jackson of Holyoke, Mass., Marvin Jackson of Sylacauga, Ala.

The family will receive friends Saturday following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
