MONTEE M. KEEN

Montee Moyle Maddox Keen, 73, went to be with her Lord on Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Montee was born in Durham to the late Caleb Jones Maddox and Montee Moyle Maddox. She had worked as a certified legal assistant with Ronnie P. King, Attorney-At-Law, for 22 years. Montee was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Homer Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Montee will be remembered by her devoted husband, Eugene Keen; her daughter, Karen Keen-DeMello and husband, Paul, of Goldsboro; her sons, Jody Paul Keen and wife, Michele, of Bethel, Randall Eugene Keen and wife, Melinda, of Raleigh; her brother, Caleb Jones Maddox of Wilmington; and her grandchildren, Justin DeMello, Ian Dillard, Caleb Keen, Tyler Keen, Samantha Kasior and Avery Keen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 204 E. Chestnut St., Goldsboro, N.C. 27534 or Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home, 204 Millbrook Village Drive, Goldsboro.
