William "June" Dancy Jr., 59, departed this life early Friday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
William Dancy Jr. leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Nikia Maye, Shanell Maye, Di'Isha Jackson; two sons, William Maye and Derrick Maye; mother, Ianthia Dancy Moore; stepfather, Alex Moore; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Hattie Dancy Richardson, Arsynitha Dancy Edens and husband, Stephen; two aunts, Lettie Hamilton and Naomi Troublefield, both of Goldsboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be 2-7 p.m. tonight at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro. Funeral will be 12:30 p.m. Friday at Bear Creek Association, 1800 S. Slocumb St., Goldsboro, N.C., with Apostle D.L. McIntyre officiating.
