STANTONSBURG -- James M. Bailey, 82, died Saturday.
He had been in the grocery business, but was better known for his interest in country, bluegrass and gospel music. Many will remember the music of the Bailey Brothers, James and Tom.
Funeral will be at 6 p.m. today at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson, followed by a time of sharing and remembering. Masonic grave rites will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Stantonsburg Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Lane Edwards Bailey; stepdaughters, Rhonda Price of Wilson, Shelia McCullen of Saulston and Francine Winstead of Greenville; stepsons, Curtis Edwards of Stantonsburg and Travis Edwards of Wilson; seven stepgrandchildren; and a sister, Doris Bridgers Skinner of Stantonsburg.
