KATHRYN C. WILLIAMS

April 3, 1915-July 28, 2007

ROANOKE, Va. -- Kathryn C. Williams, 92, of 6120 Flamingo Drive, died Saturday evening at Pheasant Ridge Nursing Home. Born in Goldsboro, she was the daughter of the late E. C. and Nannie Crow. She was the wife of the late Emmett William Williams and was a longtime member and Sunday school teacher of St. Paul U.M.C.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul U.M.C. with the Rev. Thurman Horney officiating. Burial will follow in Willowdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Della Williams; three grandchildren, Amy McCarthy and husband, Allan, of Virginia Beach, Va., Sally Williams of Roanoke, Va., and Neil Williams of Charleston, S.C.; and great-granddaughter, Hannah McCarthy of Virginia Beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul U.M.C.
