Marie Williamson Price, 76, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Price Family Cemetery in Seven Springs.
Ms. Price was born in Wayne County to the late Owen Williamson and Bessie Price Williamson. She was a member of Indian Springs United Methodist Church while her health permitted. She was also a caregiver.
She is survived by one son, Dwight Whitfield of Virginia; daughter, Janice Darwen of Faison; one sister, Muriel Ruth Whitfield of Mount Olive; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Price was preceded in death by one brother, Tootsie Williamson and one sister, Sarah Uldene Johnson.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Tuesday at Price Family Cemetery in Seven Springs and other times at the home of Gary and Betty Whitfield, 825 Tram Road in Mount Olive.
