ANGELINE M. HOWE

ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Angeline Marie Cecce Howe, 74, died Sunday at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Elmira to the late Albert and Angeline Dandrea Cecce.

Angie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, an avid bingo player and in earlier years, enjoyed bowling.

She was predeceased by her husband, William J. Howe Sr., on January 27, 2002 and is survived by her children, Mary and James Patterson of Mount Olive, Barbara and Eric Sturm of Goldsboro, William Jr. and LouAnn Howe of Pine City, Michael and Debra Howe of Elmira, Joseph and Dawn Howe of Pine Valley, Debra and Steven VanZile of Elmira, Dominic and Deborah Howe of Horseheads and Jean Ann and Timothy Wolfe of Wellsburg; 28 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four brothers and one sister; several nieces and nephews.

It was Angie's request that there be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Woodlawn National Ceme-tery, 1825 Davis St., Elmira, with Deacon William Dougherty officiating. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Angie through donations to Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care, 11751 E. Corning Road, Corning, NY 14830.

Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St., Elmira, NY 14901 is assisting the family.
