TEACHEY -- Bettie Ruth Highsmith, 79, died Friday at Guardian Care Nursing Home, Kenansville.
Funeral services will be Thursday at noon at First Baptist Church, Teachey, with the Rev. Edward Barnhill officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Loretta Davison of Trenton, N.J.; two aunts; an uncle; one sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at First Baptist Church, Teachey, and at other times at the home of her aunt, Wilma Wells Davis, Teachey.
