MARY I. PARMELEE

WALLINGFORD -- Mary I. Parmelee, 94, resident of MasoniCare, and former long-time resident of Windsor Locks died Sunday. She was the wife of the late Nelson E. Parmelee.

She was a daughter of Bingham and Eula Basden Isler, born in Jones County and raised in Goldsboro. She was a registered nurse trained at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia and worked as an industrial nurse at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for many years.

She was a member of the Congregational Church of Windsor Locks until her move to Wallingford.

Mrs. Parmelee is survived by two sons, Nelson Parmelee of LaGrangeville, N.Y. and James Parmelee of Carver, Mass.; daughter, Judith P. Shea of Wayne, Penn.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. Graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Grove Cemetery, Main Street, Windsor Locks. If friends desire, gifts in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 188, North Haven, CT 06473-0188.
