Jeffrey Mark "Mike" Johnson, 41, 902 B Hopkins St., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Wayne County and a former employee of St. Mary's Hospital, New York. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Johnson; sister, Corine Alston; brother, Ronald Simms.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McIntyre Funeral Home Chapel, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, with Evangelist Angeline Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery.
He is survived by wife, Nicole Lewis Johnson of the home; mother, Ella Mae Johnson of Goldsboro; daughter, Shanique Lawson of Goldsboro, stepdaughters, Tiya King and Jamie Grant, both of Goldsboro; stepson, Kadarius Lewis of Goldsboro; sisters, Janet Hutchins, Juanita Simms, Betty Simms, and Dollice Mathis, all of Goldsboro, Joyce Ann Simms of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brothers, Alonzo Simms of Goldsboro, Freddie Simms Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Viewing will be today at McIntyre Funeral Home from 2 to 6 p.m.
