Funeral services for Evangelist Carol Jean Bryant, 49, 702 S. Audubon Ave., who died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church with Bishop L. Sawyer and Elder Howard McNair, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Newsome. She is survived by her husband, Earl L. Bryant Sr. of the home; daughter, Shoneka L. Heath, two stepdaughters: Telicia S. Burden and Latesha Jones; stepson, Earl L. Bryant Jr.; mother, Bettie J. Raiford; sisters, Terry Pearsall, Patricia McNeil, Shirley Ann Mack; brothers, Ralph E. Newsome Jr., and Robert E. Newsome.
Viewing will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel and at other times at the residence.
