Hattie Hamm Gales, 88, 600 E. Dixie Trail, died Friday at Sunbridge Nursing Home.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at True Holiness Assembly Church located at 409-1/2 East Elm Street with pastor Dion Womack officiating. Bur-ial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born to the late Johnny Worrells Sr. and Hattie Ray Worrells. Also, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Johnny, Milton, and Solomon; two sisters, Clara and Lena.
Mrs. Gales is survived by a son; Irvine Rudolph Edmundson of Goldsboro; a sister, Alberta Uzzell of Eureka; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be today from 1 to 7:30 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel. Wake will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. with the family present to receive friends and other family members.
