LAGRANGE - Katie Moore Sugg, 79, 115A W. Washington St., died Saturday at her home.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Church St. Chapel of the Farmville Funeral Home by the Rev. Carl Grant. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens near Farmville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Stiverson.
Ms. Sugg was survived by a daughter, Jean Jones of Darlington, S.C.; a son, Don Ray Sugg of Clarksville, Ga.; a son-in-law, David Stiverson of LaGrange; four brothers, Cecil, Jasper, and Robert Moore, all of Walstonburg and Clarence Moore of Bethel; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Farmville Funeral Home tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home of David Stiverson, 115 W. Washington St., LaGrange.
