KENNETH F. SATTERFIELD

PIKEVILLE - Kenneth Freeman Satterfield, 75, 203 Edgerton Farm Drive, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Freeman Louis and Anna Thelma Leibold Satterfield. A veteran of the U. S. Army, he served in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired sheet metal architect, for the architect of the capital in Washington, D.C. and was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Goldsboro.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Dr. Pete Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Elaine Satterfield; his daughter and son-in-law, Susan Elaine and Wayne D. Palmer of Pikeville; three grandchildren, Kendall, Alaina, & Jadin; and a sister-in-law, Yola O'Kane.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford L. Satterfield.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home of his daughter, 201 Edgerton Farm Drive, Pikeville.
