SEVEN SPRINGS - Amos Franklin Davis Sr., 4367 Liddell Road, died Thursday at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Willie" George and Mamie Smith Davis; a brother, Ronald Davis; and a sister, Margaret Williams.
Funeral services will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Price officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Mitchell Davis, of the home; four daughters, Pam Davis Skinner, Karen and Angela Davis and Beth Davis Hinson; one son, Franklin Davis; three sisters, Mary Lou Brinkley, Alice Spain, Sue O'Connell; one brother, Billy Davis; and six grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home.
