Reuben Hamilton, 80, 3738 Wayne Memorial Drive, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, with pastor Joe A. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery.
Mr. Hamilton was born to the late Mr. Joshua and Annie Langston Hamilton.
He is survived by two nieces; Annie Cox of Goldsboro and Denise Tyson of Snow Hill; one nephew, Joshua Sutton of Goldsboro; step-daughter, Gloria Richardson Rebollor of Dudley; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be today from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
Wake service will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
