MOUNT OLIVE - Goldia B. Fisher, 81, 519 E. Hillsboro St., died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church with Apostle Preston Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in the Carver Memorial Park.
Mrs. Fisher was the daughter of the late Ed and Effie Brooks.
She is survived by three sons; Kenneth E. Fisher of Ma., Gary Fisher of Goldsboro and David Fisher of the home; four daughters, Delores Branch of Goldsboro, Jackie Wallace of Mount Olive, Celeste Fisher of Philadelphia, Pa., and Deborah Marshall of Middlesex; one brother, Gartha Brooks of Philadelphia, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Viewing will be at Garris Funeral Home chapel today from 3 to 6 p.m. with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m.
