BAILEY -- Ruby Lee Wiggins Strickland, 80, died Wednesday. Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m. Friday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Maplewood Cemetery with the Rev. James Herring officiating.
Mrs. Strickland is survived by three sisters, Edna Petway, Linda Edwards, and Marie Craft all of Wilson; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Milton Strickland; a daughter, Ann Strickland Bissette; and a son, Joseph Strickland Jr.
The family will receive friends Friday night at the funeral home immediately following the service and at other times at 6038 Shiloh Church Road.
