PIKEVILLE -- Linwood Graham Bridgers, 80, 1706 Old Kenly Road, died Tuesday. He was the son of the late Alkie Graham and Lottie Woodard Bridgers.
Funeral services will be today at 7 p.m. at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton with burial at 10 a.m. Friday in the Bridgers Family Cemetery, Old Kenly Road.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Edgerton Bridgers; daughter, Peggy Bridgers McKinney of Pikeville; son-in-law, Dale Ray McKinney of Pikeville; brothers, Robert and Melvin Bridgers of Goldsboro; sisters, Pauline Hall of Goldsboro, Joann Medlin and Carol King of Kenly, and Polly Kirkman of Morrisville; two grandchildren, Alice McKinney Fassnacht and husband, Dieter, and Donna McKinney Hester and husband, Ben; three great-grandchildren, Nathan and Kaylee McKinney and Luke Fassnacht.
The family will be receiving friends at 6 p.m. tonight and also after the service.
The family is being served by Casey Funeral Home.
