HOPE MILLS -- Roger Glenn Barnes Sr., 67, died Monday at his residence. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Sydney Malcolm Barnes Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Barnes of the home; a son, Roger Glenn Barnes Jr. of Hope Mills; a daughter, Karen Barnes Draughon of Hope Mills; two brothers, James Barnes of Wilmington and Gene Barnes of Dunn; two grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Reese Funeral Home.
