NATHANIEL DILLEHAY

Died Nov. 23, 2006

BURLINGTON - Tech Sgt. (Ret.) Nathaniel Cornelius Dillehay Jr., 1432 Duggins Drive, died Thursday at 5:55 p.m. at his residence.

Mr. Dillehay was son of Nathaniel C. Dillehay Sr. and Mabelia Graves Dillehay, both deceased, and the husband of Christine Pulliam Dillehay, who survives.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at New Covenant Holy Church with Bishop Harry L. Cohen officiating. Burial will following in Linwood Cemetery in Graham with full military rites.

He graduated from Graham Negro High School in 1952 and then served in the U.S. Army for 23 years as a staff sergeant. He retired from the Alamance County Health Department in 2005. He was an active member of New Covenant Holy Church.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Mark A. and Kenneth C. Dillehay; a daughter, Tempia Mae Corbett; and two brothers, Roy and George Dillehay.

Other than his wife of 53 years of the home, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda Brown Foster of Burlington; sister, Mary V. Trosclair of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, John Dillehay of Goldsboro; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be tonight at New Covenant Holy Church from 6 to 8 p.m. and all other times at the home. Public viewing will be Monday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Alamance Funeral Service.
