NANCY B. BEDFORD

GOLDSBORO - Nancy Broughton Bedford, 59, 2106 O'Berry Center Road, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Randolph Broughton and Mary Ivey Broughton. She had worked as bookkeeper with W.S. Clark Company and was a member of Rosewood First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Bostian officiating. Interment will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Bedford is survived by her husband, James E. Bedford; daughter, Gina Bedford of Goldsboro; son, Jamie Bedford and wife, Debra, of Goldsboro; grandson, Tyson Bedford; brother, Jimmy Broughton and wife, Bonnie, of Wendell; nephew, Eddie Broughton and wife, Christy ,of Wendell; and a loving companion, Buttercup.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special friend, Vickie Ivey.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Rosewood First Baptist Church, 562 NC Hwy. 581 South, Goldsboro, 27530.
The family will receive friends Saturday following the service and other times at her home.
