CHICAGO, Ill. -- Emil R. Jordan Jr., formerly of Goldsboro, died in Chicago, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, Jean C. Brown Jordan of Goldsboro; a daughter, Debra Clayton and husband, Reggie, of Chicago, Ill.; a granddaughter, Jada Clayton of Chicago, III.; a sister, Dorothy Jordan Lewis of Atlanta, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Ella Mae Jordan and a brother, Edward Earl Jordan.
Mr. Jordan was a 1953 graduate of Dillard High School.
Funeral services were held Monday at Salem Baptist Church, Chicago, III., and arrangements were handled by Leaks and Son Chapel.
