Died Oct. 27, 2006
Wade Francis Page, 74, died Friday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Mr. Page was born in Stantonsburg to the late Russell Mark Page and Celia Lamm Page and was married to the late Evaleen Fine Page. He was the retired assistant director of the Goldsboro Housing Authority. Mr. Page was a member of the Goldsboro Civitans and Southern Wayne Country Club. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean War.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Page is survived by his son, Ron Page of Goldsboro; his daughter, Tracy Pendergraft and husband, Mike, of Goldsboro; his brothers, Harvey Page and wife, Harriett, of Wilson and Pat Page, of Stantonsburg; his sister, Peggy Carver of Chesapeake, Va. and his grandchildren, Aaron Pendergraft and wife, Jessica, of Florence, S.C., Austin Pendergraft, Garrett Pendergraft and Greyson Pendergraft, all of Goldsboro. He is also survived by beloved several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Page, Russell Page, Aaron Page and Ronald Page and his sisters, Ruth Mumford, Grace Grimes, Daisy Petzer and Evelyn Grantham.
Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C. 27534.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Tracy and Mike Pendergraft, 200 Plantation Road, Goldsboro, N.C.
