Manie Louise Johnson, 71, passed away on Tuesday at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 26 at 2 p.m. at Patetown Cemetery, in the Patetown Community. The Reverend Michael Coppock will officiate.
Ms. Johnson was born on February 1, 1935 to the late William Franklin Bean and Manie Henderson Bean. She was a nurses' aid for 21 years having worked at Guardian Care and Britthaven Nursing Home of Goldsboro and was also a Home Health Care Provider.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Daniel Bean of Goldsboro and Clifton Lee Johnson Jr, of Goldsboro; two daughters, JoAnn Roberts of Princeton and Betty Faye Miller of Goldsboro; one brother, Walter Franklin Bean of Smithfield; two sisters, Ester Bell Messer of Smithfield and Betty Lucille Phillips of West Virginia; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Lee Johnson Sr; one brother and three sisters.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Patetown Cemetery on Thursday .
