Alphonso Albert Barnes, 41, of 1001 Evergreen Avenue died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be conducted on Friday, October 27 at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park located on U.S. 117 South, Goldsboro with Elder Carlton Barnes officiating.
He was born to the late Harold Lee Barnes and was preceded in death by his sister Diane Barnes-Washington.
He leaves to cherish his memories his grandmother of the home Elizabeth Barnes; his mother Dorothy Mae Barnes of Maryland; another grandmother Lillie Artis of Wilson; three sisters: Roegean Sutton and Janice Lamb both of Goldsboro and Juniper Niles of Washington; three brothers: Jimmie Williams of MD, Bobby Barnes of Goldsboro and Harold Lee Barnes Jr. of Atlanta, GA; two aunts, three uncles, nine nephews, seven nieces, two great nephews, one great niece, and a host of others relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 26 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
The family will assemble one hour prior at Hamilton Funeral Chapel in preparation for the funeral procession to the cemetery.
