William Norwood James, 79, of Clinton, died Friday at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center.
The funeral will be held Sunday night at 7 at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, with visitation following the service. Burial will be held at 11 Monday morning in Devotional Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bowden Presbyterian Church, c/o Linda Taylor, 597 Taylor Town Road, Faison, N.C. 28341, or Advantage Hospice, 320 N. West Blvd., Clinton, N.C. 28328.
Mr. James is survived by his wife, Ren Smith James, of the home; two sons, Donald James and wife, Darlene, and Melvin James, all of Warsaw; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
