GRIFTON -- Ronnie Earl Edmundson, 53, 4092 Hugo Road, died Monday.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Allan Ham officiating. A private interment will be held Thursday at Cobb Cemetery.
Mr. Edmundson was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Smith Edmundson; sister, Paulette Butts; and brother, Paul Scott Edmundson.
He had a great love of fishing and was a devoted fan of Dale Earnhardt.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pat Carter Edmund-son; son, Scott Edmundson of Mount Olive; daughter, Teresa Carter and husband, Bobby, of Kinston; father, Hubert "Tip" Edmundson of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Stephanie Ed-mundson, Hunter Edmund-son, Harley Carter, Bobby Carter and Dillon Carter; brother, Roger Edmundson of Seven Springs; six sisters, Brenda Williams of Goldsboro, Donna Howell of Snow Hill, Mary Carter of LaGrange, Judy Morris of Seven Springs and Lori Wells and Patsy Futrelle of Pikeville.
The family will receive friends tonight following the service and at other times they will be at the home.
Arrangements are being handled by Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
