Shelby Stowe Reeves, 68, died today at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Pikeville Cemetery, with the Rev. Albry Jones officiating.
Mrs. Reeves was born in Lenoir County to the late Thomas Elbert Stowe and Louise Howell Stowe. She was an active member of Pineview Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Allan Reeves, of Four Oaks, and Michael Glenn Reeves, of Alabama; two sisters, Alice Stowe Smith, of Goldsboro and Nancy Gay Thomas, of Smithfield; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her husband, Leamon Reeves Jr.
