Glennie Harrell Jarrell died Sunday evening at the Alterra Sterling House of Goldsboro.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Virginia Best Harrell. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by two sons, Gilbert Franklin Jarrell Jr. and Charles Donovan Jarrell; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory.
