MARY C. MATSEY

Mary Catherine Matsey, 82, 872 N.C. 111 South, died Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Father Tom Norris, O.S.F.S., presiding. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
She was born in Pennsylvania to the late Minnici and Rosaria Jentile Plocido and was married to the late Frank C. Matsey.
Mrs. Matsey is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary and Ginny Matsey of Raleigh and Frank Matsey of Goldsboro; three daughters and sons-in-law, Janie and Kenneth Fields of Goldsboro, Rene Hunt of Wake Forest and Teri and Mike Lindamood of Rincon, Ga.; one brother, Vincent Matsey of Pennsyl-vania; one sister, Rose Fink of Florida; nine grandchildren, Christie Pittman, Adam Lindamood, Wendy Hung, Melissa Matsey, Kenny Fields, Sarah Lindamood, Michelle Hunt, Katie Matsey and Michael Lindamood; and five great-grandchildren, Matthew Pittman, Luke Pittman, Haley Matsey, Taylor Matsey and Lacy Matsey.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
