James Brown Jr., 67, of 307 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, died Saturday at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation of Mount Olive.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Greater St. John FWB Church in Dudley. Pastor William Mitchell will be officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
The viewing will take place today at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.
The family will be present to receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Mr. Brown was a native of Wayne County and was preceded in death by his parents, James Brown, Sr. and Josephine Hagins Brown. He was also employed for more than thirty years at General Industries and retired from Franklin Bakery.
He is survived by wife, Thomasia Brown, of the home; daughter, Toraya Riche, of Raleigh; son, Toriano Marsh, of Durham, brother, J. David Brown, of Durham; and one grandchild.
