Katherine Pearce Daniel, 96, passed away on Friday at Albemarle Assisted Living in Tarboro.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m at Pikeville Cemetery in Pikeville.
Ms. Daniel was born in Richmond County, Va. to the late Joseph Pearce and Mary Gertrude Jennings Pearce.
She is survived by her sister, Stella Sidbury of Darlington, S.C.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Daniel was preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Daniel.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home, 102 N. Pine St. in Fremont.
