FERDINAND FAISON

Clinton--Mr. Ferdinand Johnson "Sonny" Faison Jr. of 315 Fox Lake Dr., died at his home Saturday.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church with The Rev. Dr. Louie Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born in Sampson County, Mr. Faison was the son of the late Nellie Peterson and Ferdinand Johnson Faison, Sr. He was a member of Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church, and a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Germany. He was a graduate of Wake Forest College. He retired as president of Carroll's Foods after 24 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy S. Faison; three sons, Ferdinand Johnson "Jay" Faison, III and wife, Leigh Ann, of Clinton, Plato Starling Faison and wife, Janna of Matthews, and Henry Elias Faison and wife, Crystal, of Clinton; six grandchildren, John Lawson Faison, Ferdinand Lee Faison, Wyman Starling Faison, Ella Darlese Faison, Isabella Reeves Faison and Henry Elias Faison, Jr.
The family will receive friends Sunday night from 6 until 9 p.m. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home and other times at his home.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
