MOUNT OLIVE -- Frances Evans, 84, 1709 Ball St., died Sunday at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Northeast Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church of Mount Olive with the Rev. Arnold B. Coley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Ms. Evans was a native of Wayne County and employed at Mount Olive Pickle Co. She was also active at the Wayne County Services On Aging Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaiah and Susan Faison Kornegay.
Survivors include two sons, David Evans of Woodbridge, Va., and Kenneth Evans of LaPlata, Md.
The viewing will be today from 2 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home.
The family will be present to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
