KENLY -- Catherine Fields Holland, 85, 9580 U.S. 301 north, died Monday at her home.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Coley Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jay Summerlin and the Rev. Willie Summerlin officiating. Burial will be in Kenly Cemetery.
She is survived by daughters, JoAnn Holland of the home and Linda H. Barnes of Lucama; three sons, Jimmy Holland and Charles Holland of Kenly and Wayne Holland of Four Oaks; a sister, Joyce Barbour of Smithfield; a brother, Bill Fields of Pikeville; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George K. Holland Sr., and sons, George K. Holland Jr., Jerry Holland and Ray Holland.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
