Joyce Alfred Parrott, 67, of Newark, N.J., died Saturday morning at Britthaven Nursing Center in Goldsboro.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. with burial in Grandview Memorial Park.
Among his survivors are his mother, Ozzie Lee Parrott of Rock Hill, S.C., three daughters: Bonita Parrott of Goldsboro, Bernadette Dove of Dudley and Belinda Bethea of Newport News, Va., three grandsons: Jamaul Bannerman of Marietta, Ga., Antoine Dove of Chapel Hill and Brandon Dove of Mooreville. He is also survived by his cousins, Arleaner Hoyles of Rock Hill, S.C., Waddell Thomas of Rock Hill, S.C., and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carnell Parrott.
Robinson Funeral Home in Rock Hill, S.C., is handling the arrangements.
