DUDLEY -- Lawrence Bradley "Brad" Barwick, 24, 2567 Indian Springs Road, died early Tuesday.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with the Rev. Sherman Dilley officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Barwick was a farmer in the Indian Springs community, a member of Indian Springs Volunteer Fire Department and a member of Northeast Free Will Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Terri Bennett Barwick of Raeford; his father and stepmother, Lawrence and Karen Barwick of Mount Olive; a sister, Sarah Brittney Barwick of Mount Olive; his paternal grandmother, Doris Barwick of Dudley, his maternal grandfather and stepgrandmother, Gene and Alice Bennett of Austin, Texas; two stepsisters, Jennifer Ennis and Tracey Raynor of Four Oaks, special uncles and aunts, Roger and Lynn Barwick of Princeton and Larry and Neta Conley of New Bern; a special cousin, Ashley Tillett of Durham; and a special friend, Mandy Quinn of Mount Olive.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Leon Barwick, and his maternal grandmother, Mary Anne Bennett.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. At other times, they will be at the home of Doris Barwick of Indian Springs.

Flowers are welcome or memorial gifts may be sent to Indian Springs Fire Department.

Pallbearers will be fellow members of Indian Springs Fire Department.
