Funeral services for Mary Robinson, 85, of Washington, D.C., formerly of Wayne County will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Calypso, with the Rev. Katie Carlton officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Robinson died Monday at Greater Southeast Community Hospital in Washington, D.C.
She was the daughter of the late Pearl Bennett, and is survived by two daughters, Deborah Pryor and Carolyn Davis of Oxen Hill, Md.; one son, Jimmy Robinson of Petersburg, Penn.; three sisters, Ruth Ezzell and Virginia Carlton of Mount Olive and Roxie Morsel of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the home of Ruth Ezzell, 736 S Breazeale Ave., Mount Olive.
