BRUCE G. JOURNIGAN

PRINCETON -- Bruce Gill Journigan, 80, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Piney Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight Dunning and the Rev. Lalleon Narron officiating.

Born March 4, 1926, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Horton Green and Liza Underwood Journigan.

He was a member of Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was an avid golfer and had won many awards. He also loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Milton Journigan.

He is survived by his wife, Shelva P. Journigan; two brothers, S.J. Journigan of Raleigh and Clyde Louis Journigan of Rolesville; and a sister, Lorraine Collins of Shelton, Conn.

A viewing will be held today from 2 to 5 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home of Princeton.
