SELMA -- Joseph Edward Brantham, 76, of King Circle died Wednesday at Wilson Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Princeton Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Baker and the Rev. Ronnie Massey officiating.
Born Jan. 13, 1930, he was the son of the late Benjamin Harrison and Alma Jones Brantham and the husband of the late Corressie Thompson Brantham.
He is survived by a son, Edward Preston of Fayetteville; five daughters, Jean Pope of Newport News, Va., Carolyn Rhodes of Selma, Vickie Marie Brantahm and Cathy Brantham of Buckhannon, W. Va., and Peggy Sue Coley of Kenly; two sisters, Mary Braswell of Goldsboro and Faye Ariza of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6:30 to 8 at Casey Funeral Home.
