MOUNT OLIVE -- Charles Thomas Anderson Sr., 58, of 876 Country Club Road, died Thursday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Mount Olive Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Steven Wicks officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Paul and Hazel McNamara Anderson and the brother of the late Melvin Anderson and Milton Anderson.
A member of Mount Olive Presbyterian Church, he was retired from Dean's Food of Faison.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Price Anderson; a son, Charlie Anderson Jr. of Mount Olive; a daughter, Megan Anderson of Raleigh; four sisters, Kitsie A. Jones of Mount Olive, Debbie A. Powlas of Richlands, Barbara A. Dew of Raleigh and Emma A. Tyndall of Calypso; and a brother, Ray Anderson of Newton Grove.
The family will greet friends Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home at 876 Country Club Road, Mount Olive.
