FAYETTEVILLE -- Esther Anderson 78, of 3017 Alden Dr. died Sunday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Abney Chapel Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Michael Miller officiating. Burial will be in Rockfish Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, Babe R. Anderson; children, Lennie Jean Portis, Queen E. Caldwell-Harper, Catherine W. LeBlanc, Richard A. Watson, James C. Arrington, Jessina Gray and Linda F. Anderson; a sister, Gladys Whitley; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Abney Chapel. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home.
