Trasond Gerald, 20, 809 Madison Ave., died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Christ Memorial Church with Apostle D.L. McIntyre officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He attended Wayne County Public Schools. He was a member of the Wayne County Boys and Girls Club at an early age.
He is survived by a daughter, Manijah Nyjah Gerald of Goldsboro; a son, Trasond Javoy Gerald Jr.; his parents, Anthony and Portia Gerald of Goldsboro; a brother, Tamarcus Gerald of Goldsboro; a sister, Shavonda Gerald of Goldsboro; his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Barbara Worrell of Goldsboro and John Lee Graham and Cortez Gunter; his paternal grandparents, Annie Ruth Gerald of Washington D.C. and Robert Sr. and Dollie Gerald of Goldsboro; his great-grandmother, Eunice McElroy of Goldsboro; five aunts; and six uncles.
The viewing will be Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Christ Memorial Church.
