BYRON GRANDY-RICHARDSON

JAPAN -- Staff Sgt. Byron Grandy-Richardson died accidentally Saturday in Japan, where he was serving with the Air Force.
A memorial service was held today in Japan.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be held in Washington, D.C. Stewart Funeral Home of Washington, D.C., is serving the family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, the late William Richardson Sr.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal; two sons, Carsten and Zoren; a daughter, Zoe; his mother, Patricia Grandy of Washington D.C.; his father, Eugene Richardson of Landover, Md.; and his grandmother, Sadie Richardson Shearod of Goldsboro.
