Catherine Dobbins Foster, 53, 102 Skitt Dr., died Sunday at her home.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Fu-neral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Purvis officiating.
She was born in Lenoir County April 23, 1953, to the late Robert S. Dobbins and Betty Summers Dobbins.
She worked in the cafeteria at Meadow Lane Elementary School and also with Wendy's.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Fields, and husband, Brian, of Raleigh; sisters, Linda Laumann and husband, Jerry, of Chesapeake, Va., Patricia Eglinton and husband, Don, of New Bern and Nancy Henderson and husband, Jeff, of Grantham; her brother, Ken Dobbins and wife, Teri, of Hillsborough; seven nephews, Bryce Laumann, Patrick Eglinton, Drew Eglinton, Robert Dobbins, Spencer Dobbins, Tyler Dobbins and Sam Henderson; and uncle and aunts, Hubert and Marguerite Garner of Sandford and Jean Curran of New York.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Seymour Funeral Home.
